Job Title: Controls Technician
Job Description
As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for installing, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical components, including motors up to 480v. Your role will involve PLC troubleshooting and working extensively with sensors, proximity switches, relays, and more. You will also commission and decommission equipment, along with wiring panels attached to the equipment.
Responsibilities
Install and wire control panels for new machinery.
Interlock PLCs on new machinery.
Troubleshoot electrical components to ensure machines are operational.
Work with up to 480v motors and other electrical components.
Commission and decommission equipment as required.Essential Skills
Experience with automation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of electrical systems, including Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Proficiency in PLC programming and electrical maintenance.
Ability to work with robotics and industrial systems.
Understanding of mechanical systems and quality control.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with preventive maintenance and automated equipment.
Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems.
Familiarity with schematic installations and robot repair.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
