Firmware - Embedded Engineer

This Firmware – Embedded Software Engineer role offers a salary range of $90,000 - $175,000, along with comprehensive benefits including PTO, 401(k), and health insurance.

The position involves research, design, development, testing, and documentation of complex electrical designs, requiring hands-on troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving.

Work is on-site in Syracuse, NY, with flexible schedules such as 4/10, 9/80, or straight 5/8, and candidates must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Key responsibilities include designing electronic IO assemblies, working with Intel (Quartus) or AMD (Vivado) tools, developing VHDL/Verilog code, supporting the entire design release cycle, and resolving electrical issues across systems.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, at least 4 years of experience, proficiency in VHDL/Verilog, chip build planning, and timing optimization, with the ability to work shift hours and support weekends.
