Description
Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for an experienced structural engineer to join our San Francisco-San Mateo, California office. This engineer will have the opportunity for structural design on both local and national projects in markets such as healthcare, commercial, office, sports, entertainment, education, and residential.
The Project Engineer should possess good judgment in evaluation, selection, and implementation of standard structural design techniques, procedures, and criteria. The Project Engineer provides quality control by checking calculations and documents and meets project deadlines and design budgets. The Project Engineer manages and directs projects from early design through construction and develops rapport and confidence with clients through communication and quality engineering work.

Examples Of Responsibilities
Engage with clients and contractors as primary point of contact throughout the project life cycle.
Manage and collaborate with engineering and technician staff to produce high-quality project documentation using computer design and graphics software programs.
Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff regarding career development, design techniques, software, and code questions.
Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
Build lasting relationships with clients through project work and business development activities. Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
Demonstrates ability to be in responsible charge of projects
Completed a minimum of 12 months as a Professional Engineer and 6 years of progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year. Passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Successfully managed multiple projects and followed them from start of design to completion of construction
Effective at communicating and working with clients, jurisdictions, and colleagues
Shows strong commitment to continued professional development
Participating member of at least one professional and/or technical society
Demonstrates willingness to take on additional work and responsibility
2 years' experience as a Professional Engineer. Passed the 16-hour structural engineering exam Benefits:

$118,000 - $132,000 per year
