ACH Processing Specialist I
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Treasury Operations ACH Processing Manager the ACH Processing Specialist I will be responsible for processing ACH transactions in a timely and accurate manger while providing support to internal and external customer.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 11:00 am to 8:30 pm and Sundays for 4 hours
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for all ACH processing Same day/Next Day Files
Responsible for researching of all ACH items
Responsible for the timely processing of unauthorized ACH disputes according to error resolution procedures as outlined in Regulation E
Compiles and accurately reports all financial data as required by Management via various output reports
Process monthly ACH reporting
Pull reports from Fedline for ACH files
Prepare TR reports for Treasury Customers
Prepare reconcilements on electric return items to Treasury Customers to ensure all returns are received
Process ACH reversal items
Archive Files from SFTP site files to Common drive for backup purposes Monthly
Handle all customer service issues, questions, troubleshooting, and/or other related matters pertaining to ACH
Maintains documents, files, and agreements, including document imaging system, as required by Bank policy.
Continually updates job knowledge by studying new product offerings, participating in educational opportunities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and SLA deadlines
Work Positive Pay exception items on ACH filter within the positive pay system.
Work suspended exceptions on RDC and RDA items deposited remotely,
Process Foreign items for collection that cannot be deposit via Lockbox
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and Treasury guidelines.
Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
College degree in an applicable area or equivalent work experience preferred
1 year of banking experience required
1 year of ACH experience preferred
AAP certification preferred
Jack Henry Silverlake experience preferred
Account Analysis experience preferred
Q2 eBanking and Centrix experience preferred
Job Skills and Qualification
Superior client service skills/attitude
Attention to detail and time management is crucial
General working knowledge of all applicable banking laws and regulations
Strong oral presentation skills in speaking with clients, both in person and over the phone
Strong change management skills and ability to work at a consistently changing pace
Strong organizational skills to include effective time management in all key responsibilities of job
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making sills
Ability to handle multiple task and interruptions, in a fast-paced environment to ensure that deadlines are met
Demonstrated ability to influence and establish positive working relationships across the organization required
Must have solid proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, and PowerPoint. Proficiency researching the Internet. Knowledge of computer and peripherals, standard and customized software applications and tools, and usual office equipment.

Self-starter and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
