About the Role

Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG) is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our dynamic and rapidly evolving Workplace IT team. This role is critical to ensuring our IT infrastructure -spanning offices, retail sportsbook locations, and business expansion projects-is robust, scalable, and future-ready.

You'll play a central role in managing and standardizing IT assets, executing our hardware and A/V strategies, supporting new business buildouts, and serving as an escalation point for complex support issues. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Infrastructure, Hardware, and Device Management

Implementation and support of core IT solutions for both corporate and retail environments.

Support the hardware strategy and lifecycle, driving standardization of devices and configurations across all Fanatics Betting and Gaming (FBG) locations.

Manage and optimize MDM platforms (WorkspaceOne, Google Admin, and Jamf) to ensure secure and scalable device management across macOS, Windows, and mobile environments.

Manage and maintain hardware and software inventory with modern cloud based inventory management systems, ensuring accurate asset tracking, compliance, and reporting.

Implement technology solutions that align with business growth, budget objectives, and user needs.

Deploy and support audio/visual systems to enhance collaboration and scale with future business needs. Buildouts, Expansions, and New Business Projects

Execute IT infrastructure planning, deployment, and hypercare for new sportsbook retail locations, corporate offices, and temporary workspaces.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure successful, on-time project delivery.

Support high-profile buildouts, FBG offices, and new geographic markets.

Partner with internal teams to support technology enablement for business expansions and emerging initiatives. Support, Collaboration, and Continuous Improvement

Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, driving long-term solutions across enterprise and retail operations.

Will participate in the teams on-call rotation supporting parts of the business as needed

Work cross-functionally with Service Desk, Workplace teams, and external IT partners to manage high-impact incidents.

Write, maintain and share technical documentation within Atlassian Confluence, supporting a culture of transparency and shared learning.

Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance IT operations, customer satisfaction, and service delivery. What We're Looking For

Experience

3+ years in IT infrastructure, end-user support, and device management.

Proven experience supporting workplace IT in fast-paced, multi-location environments.

Familiarity with hardware selection, vendor management, and retail or office buildouts. Technical Skillset

Proficient with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and MDM platforms (WorkspaceOne, Jamf).

Working knowledge of Chromebooks, Linux, and cloud-based IT systems.

Experience with hardware refresh cycles, asset management, and system automation.

Strong understanding of modern cloud SAAS hardware and software inventory platforms, including asset lifecycle tracking, compliance, and reporting.

Understanding of networking fundamentals and A/V technology is a plus. Mindset & Approach

Strong communicator, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Working Style

Agile-oriented; familiar with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.

Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and tools as the business evolves.

Willing to travel up to as needed to support company initiatives and on-site buildout.

The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award.

*Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $100,000 to $198,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
