Mechanical Engineer - Healthcare Sector

Overview:

Our client is well established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team within the DC market!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated response

Calculate heat loss/heat gain requirements for buildings

Layout of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and/or REVIT software

Coordinate system design with other trades

Assist jobsite meetings as needed

Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise

Create and maintain customer relationships Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution

EIT, PE or CEM are a plus

3+ years experience in MEP, specifically Healthcare projects

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong leadership and communication skills

AutoCAD and REVIT software experience Benefits Offered:
