Are you a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer passionate about designing innovative and efficient building systems? Strategic Energy Solutions, Inc.® (SES) is seeking an experienced professional to lead high-impact projects and mentor the next generation of engineers.

What You'll Do:

Lead & Innovate: Oversee the design and engineering of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems, ensuring energy efficiency and reliability.

Design Excellence: Develop specifications, working drawings, and technical documents for complex projects.

Analyze & Solve: Tackle complex design challenges, developing innovative techniques and solutions.

Mentor & Guide: Coach junior engineers, fostering skill development and technical expertise.

Ensure Quality & Accuracy: Monitor project progress, review shop drawings and RFIs, and conduct field investigations.

Collaborate & Consult: Work closely with clients, architects, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Drive Cost-Effective Solutions: Develop opinions of probable construction costs, factoring in project size and complexity. What You Bring:

Extensive expertise in mechanical system design, including HVAC load calculations, energy simulations, equipment selection, and steam/hydronic heating systems.

Plumbing system experience, including domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, stormwater, and water heating systems.

Temperature control system knowledge, including pneumatic, electronic, and direct digital controls.

Familiarity with fire protection system design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation software.

Strong problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and task prioritization.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Minimum 10 years of experience in building system design and construction. Why Join SES?
