Role name: Functional Analyst

Role Description: Develop and implement test plans and test cases based on specifications from the development teamExecute various types of testing such as system, regression, load, and acceptance testingIdentify, analyze, and document software defectsCollaborate with the development team to troubleshoot, debug, and fix issuesGenerate reports on test results and provide feedback to project teamsMonitor the performance of the system to ensure that it meets the user's requirementsEnsure that the final product can be used in its operational environment effectivelyParticipate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problemsUpdate test scripts based on bugs and changes/upgrades in the systemMaintain and upgrade test environments as neededHelp coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT)

Competencies: Manual Testing Processes and Management, Functional Testing

Experience (Years): 4-6

Desirable Skills: Knowledge on Sql, GRC Applications, Writing Automation script for Regression testing
