The IRF Manager is responsible for the management of import material flows into Assembly, Powertrain and Manufacturing facilities within NAFTA and export flows of material into affiliates for Pre-Pilot, Pilot and Production. This position is also responsible to manage the International SDRM activities, releasing for export operations, CKD operations, Ocean forwarders, 3PL's and export & import consolidation centers with material flow strategies optimizing processes and cost within NAFTA.
Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead activities to optimize material flow to plants and customers. Work directly with purchasing and ocean carriers on new awarded contracted lanes and spot buys
Work closely with the freight forwarders and transportation providers to drive seamless support of the Stellantis facilities and affiliate locations
Establish and ensure metrics are in place to measure and drive results within the various flows
Responsible Regional NA lead for international parts operations and flows
Responsible to ensure all necessary resources, processes and systems are in place to facilitate the supply of parts and components
Liaison within the team on an internal and external basis; Engineering, Manufacturing, ICT, Finance, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Global teams, MLM, Logistics Providers and 3PL's
Lead Consolidation center(s) to ensure operations support the business
Manage inventory practices of 3PLs that support our Assembly and powertrain plants
Collaborate directly with platform teams and the plants to mitigate risk and drive cost savings
Oversee export release processes and flat file management as well as claims activities for export programs
Work closely with 3PL to conduct annual physical inventory at all locations
Oversee team responsible for change management on the export program
Coordinate CKD shipments from US to overseas
Manage critical suppliers overseas performing Supplier Delivery Risk Management activities to protect Plant production build.
Lead the integration of additional products, projects and volume coming into the US. Liaison between launch planning to launch readiness.
Coordinate all the part / supplier relocation from overseas to the US to avoid excess and obsolescence (E&O) Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
10 + years of experience in the automotive, OEM, or similar industry
Cross-functional experience in supply chain management disciplines
Prior experience interacting with multi-disciplinary and operational teams
Extremely organized, good planner, independent, and detail oriented
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask within tight deadlines
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or an MBA
Prior Automotive / Production Control experience beneficial
Familiarity with Stellantis systems (Change Management, Capacity, Logistics, International Packaging, Purchasing)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in global multi-cultural environments
Foreign language skills
Demonstrated Customer Relationship Skills
Plant Operations & Warehouse Experience
Experience with Releases, CHIERS, EBOM, CHAMPS, Cosmic, CMIS, AETC's, CSDS, WebCN & Purchasing Systems
