Emergency Department Tech (weekends)

We are seeking an experienced ED Tech. The ideal candidate will assist medical staff in the ED, providing crucial support to ensure efficient patient care.

Responsibilities

- Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed

- Assist in various emergency room procedures under the supervision of medical staff

- Monitor and record vital signs accurately

- Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication

- Provide compassionate patient care and support in a fast-paced environment

- Maintain proficiency in basic life support techniques

Qualifications

- Prior experience working in an Emergency Room or similar fast-paced medical setting is preferred

- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and ER protocols

- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs

- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
