Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Truss Assembler for a company based in Culpeper, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to primarily be responsible for constructing and assembling trusses, which are frameworks used to support roofs, bridges, and other structures.

Pay Rate

$16.00 per hour starting, negotiable, DOE

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 6 00 am to 4 30 pm.

Fridays are mandatory overtime days as needed

Truss Assembler Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble truss components, including beams and connectors, using tools such as saws, nail guns, and drills

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly

• Inspect finished trusses for quality and adherence to specifications

• Handle and organize materials efficiently to maintain workflow and reduce waste

Truss Assembler Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be able to read a measuring tape

• Familiarity with hand and power tools preferred

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift

• Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment inside production plant

• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen INCLUDING THC
