Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Irvine, California, as part of a long-term contract position within the energy and natural resources industry. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects involving Salesforce development, software tools creation, and collaborative change management processes. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Salesforce automations using Flows and Apex to optimize business processes.

• Plan, test, and implement system updates and enhancements to improve functionality.

• Provide Tier 1–2 support to end-users, including creating training modules and delivering targeted instruction.

• Build and customize reports and dashboards to meet organizational needs.

• Design, develop, and deploy lightweight custom software tools to support internal operations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions.

• Contribute to process discovery and enhancement initiatives to streamline workflows.

• Operate within Agile sprints, ensuring clear communication of task status, blockers, and timelines.

• Manage changes using Git and participate in version-controlled deployments.

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for internal tools and Salesforce applications.• Proficiency in Salesforce development and administration, including Apex and Flows.

• Strong programming skills in .NET and C#.

• Experience with Python for software development.

• Ability to design and deploy custom tools to support operational requirements.

• Familiarity with Git for version control and deployment processes.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and team members.

• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.

• Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
