Mytosynth Nutraceuticals LLC

Brief description

This position reports directly under the Mytosynth Nutrascuticals LLC Controller and will be responsible for entering data, analyzing data, performing monthly reconciliations, providing ad hoc financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.

Tasks

•\tSupport the month-end and year-end accounting close procedure and deliverables, including journal entries and reconciliations to ensure financial statements are prepared timely and accurately in accordance with company policies and GAAP.

•\tResponsible for completion of monthly account reconciliations and proactively managing balance sheet accounts to ensure activity is reflected in the correct period.

•\tPartner with cross-functional teams to provide and receive information pertinent to various accounting issues and proactively provide insights to the general ledger activities.

•\tResponsible for managing the fixed asset processes including additions, disposals, depreciation and compliance.

•\tResponsible for accounts payable accruals, including open POs and invoices not yet processed post a period close.

•\tSupport treasury functions through daily bank transactions and supporting store level activity.

•\tManage accounting policies and procedures to ensure financial statements are complaint.

•\tActively support audits, including bank reviews, financial audits and tax compliance.

•\tAs needed, develop documentation in order to maintain a solid understanding of policies and procedures.

•\tDevelop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

•\tOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications

•\tA four-year bachelor’s degree

•\tAbility to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions

•\tProficient in Excell and ERP Systems

•\tAbility to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

•\tAbility to work independently and as a team member to resolve various issues that may occur

•\tSalaried / Exempt (not eligible for overtime)
