What You’ll Do

Estimate Job Costs

Using customer bid specifications, detail drawings, historical data, and other information prepare accurate job cost analysis including:

Determine work scope, tools, and equipment requirements

Raw Material Costs

Freight Costs

Outside Service and Sub-Contractor Costs

Machine Cycle Times

Fabrication Man-hours

Inspection Man-hours

Assembly Man-hours

Prepare and sent quote documents to customers

Enter quote data into GSS for tracking purposes

Enter router information into GSS

Open Jobs for “won” quotes

Program CNC Machines to optimize productivity and quality

Monitor performance of machine programs and evaluate for opportunities to improve processes.

Track job performance and monitor for deviations from quoted times and costs.

What you’ll need

3-4 years relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment

GSS or other ERP software basic proficiency

Strong written, verbal and computer skills required

Computer skills with MS word and excel

Must be able to read engineering drawings and bills of material

Knowledge of current Incoterms for domestic and international shipping

Ability to interact with vendors and customers, as required

Demonstrated prior success in achieving results using team driven philosophies

Demonstrated proficiency in ability to communicate and exercise positive people skills

Ability to travel domestically and abroad as project requires
