A day in the life… Wondering what a day in the life of a full-time Help Desk Specialist at The Iowa Clinic might look like?

Join our onsite IT Team in West Des Moines, assisting incoming IT tickets and calls for employees and providers, ensuring a smooth IT environment and high user satisfaction.

Handel a variety of computer operations

Answer daily help desk calls to IT, averaging over 60 calls per day

Respond to and diagnose computer software issues encountered by end users

Resolve less complex issues immediately while escalating more complex problems to second level support personnel

Add new users to all systems for IT

The schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday, based around the hours of 7am - 5pm (8-hour days) onsite in West Des Moines.

Qualifications/Requirements

Technical/Vocational degree preferred or equivalent experience

Two years previous working knowledge of computer operations required
