Position Overview:

Were seeking an IoT / PC Engineer who excels at the intersection of software integration, machine connectivity, and real-time data solutions. In this hands-on role, you'll architect, implement, and support PC-based systems that connect industrial equipment to cloud services, databases, and vision platforms helping to shape the smart factory of tomorrow. Whether you're configuring remote systems or diving into SQL queries, your work will directly influence how modern automation comes together.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain machine-to-cloud and PC-to-PLC communication networks

Configure Windows-based PCs for deployment on automated machinery

Design and troubleshoot SQL databases, APIs, and integration scripts

Install and support vision systems such as Cognex or Keyence

Provide field and remote support for machine-side software during installations and launches

Assist in setting up Telit IoT systems and SCADA-style platforms for real-time monitoring

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth product deployment

Draft technical documentation including workflows, SOPs, and network architecture

Support pre-shipment configuration and live testing of automation systems

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and Windows PC setup

Proven experience writing and debugging SQL queries

Familiarity with API usage, OPC-UA communication, and systems integration

Ability to interpret PLC logic structures and collaborate with controls engineers

Experience supporting industrial or field-based software deployments

Willingness to assist during off-hours when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

4+ years in IT, automation, or hybrid technical environments

Prior experience with Cognex, Keyence, Telit, or similar platforms

Exposure to SCADA systems, smart manufacturing, or data acquisition projects

Knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse operations

Comfort working onsite with some travel and occasional remote flexibility

Strong troubleshooting instincts and a proactive problem-solving mindset
