The Office of Finance is seeking a Bond Accountant 1 with the following minimum qualifications:
24 months training or 24 months experience in accounting.
OR completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or public administration.
OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

OHFA’s Office of Finance provides fiscal management, budgeting & accounting for OHFA & its programs. The office manages mortgage revenue bonds, administers & services the Agency’s assets including its housing development loans. The office also coordinates the annual federal & financial audits of all Agency funds, as well as prepares monthly financial reports & quarterly budget reports.
The Office of Finance is looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Accountant (Bond Accountant 1) who will\:
Assist other Bond Accountants in completing monthly folders (e.g., deposit checks, create cash receipts, maintain accounts receivable aging information, review single family and multifamily mortgage revenue bond programs, maintain grant information in automated accounting system, create servicing bank disbursements letters)
Process draw requests (e.g., ensure proper documentation, upload and index draws and completed monthly folders in the document imaging system)
Support the purchasing supervisor (e.g., process purchase order requests, create and maintain vendors in the automated accounting system, upload and index purchasing documents, distribute tax exemption form to vendors, communicate with vendors to resolve issues, assist with agency travel responsibilities)
Maintain assigned finance help desk tickets (e.g., request needed information, communicate status of ticket, complete ticket)

Employees in this position are required to come to OHFA's offices which are located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231.
This position will be filled in accordance with the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association (OCSEA) contract. Per Article 36.02 - General Wage Increase of the OCSEA contract, there will be a 4.5% increase in wages for the pay period which includes July 1, 2025.
