About the Role:

Midlake Products is a Metal Fabricator located in Louisvlle, Ohio. We have been in business for over 35 years and are growing! We are seeking a calm, well-composed, critical thinker to join our team as a Fiber Laser Operator. In this role, you will operate two fiber lasers to produce high-quality metal parts and components. Prior experience is preferred but not required - we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong aptitude for computers and CNC machinery, as well as an even-keeled, common sense approach to the tasks at hand.

Responsibilities:

Operate fiber laser cutting equipment to produce parts to specifications

Interpret drawings and work orders

Perform basic quality checks and ensure parts meet quality standards

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with CNC machines or laser equipment (a plus)

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in computers

Solid math skills and the ability to read and interpret drawings

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
