Reports to: Plant Manager

An individual in this position will be working in our warehouse palletizing a variety of beverages. A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, follow processes, troubleshoot, handle food products and packaging safely, and master the operations of several machines. Additionally, a successful candidate must be willing to work in a cold environment of 32F to 38F.

Salary: $20/hour

Shift: Monday- Friday, 12pm- 8pm

Job Functions

Adhere to our Good Manufacturing Practices

Learn to operate our stacking machine and palletizing machine

Form cubes of stacked milk crates; move cubes onto the palletizing machine; wrap pallets in compliance with our protocols

Remove and dispose of broken glass as needed; protect products from broken glass and debris

Learn, execute, and participate in the development of Standard Operating Procedures

Comply with our Sanitation Procedures, Food Safety Programs, and Quality Evaluation Programs

Compliance with documentation requires legible handwriting

Always maintain a clean and safe working environment

Education and Experience

Reading, writing, and speaking English is required

High school education or General Education Degree (GED) required

Five or more years of food manufacturing experience preferred

Forklift experience is required

Computer Skills

Experience with using a computer required

Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products preferred

Physical Demands

Standing, stooping, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling

Must be able to climb and work from a ladder and/or elevated lifts

Must be able to lift, carry, and move weights of 50-150 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision

Environmental Conditions

Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from -40F to 130F

Must be able to work in wet environments

Must be able to work with a variety of cleaning chemicals

Additional Information

This position is full-time with potential work shifts outside normal scheduling based on business needs.

We will always try to minimize production on holidays, but this cannot be guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate a fair work schedule to allow for time off.
