Are you passionate about building high-reliability embedded systems for missions that truly matter? We're partnering with a pioneering space tech company seeking an experiencedFlight Software Engineering Managerto lead the development of mission-critical software for next-generation spacecraft.

This is ahands-on leadershiprole where you'll split your time betweenmanaging a team of 3–4 engineersandarchitecting flight softwarethat drives real-time, autonomous space systems.

?What you'll be doing:

Technical leadership and architecture of real-time embedded systems (Rust/C++)

Team leadership including coaching, hiring, and performance management

Development of command and control software across multiple subsystems

Collaborating across hardware and systems engineering teams

Driving integration, unit/system testing, and continuous improvement

?️What you'll bring:

5+ years of embedded software development (Rust or modern C++)

2+ years of technical leadership + people management

Strong knowledge of ARM SoCs, RTOS/Linux or bare-metal environments

Experience with autonomous, fault-tolerant, or flight-critical systems

Bonus: Python, Docker, CI/CD, SPI/UART/I2C interfaces

?Salary:$150,000–$180,000 DOE
