Key Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of construction and construction management processes from start to finish.

Strong Understanding of OSHA and MIOSHA standards.

Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasting, along with coordination with stakeholders to establish project goals and objectives.

Contract Management: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts with subcontractors and vendors. Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.

Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures throughout the construction process. Identify cost- saving opportunities and implement strategies to maximize project efficiency and profitability.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays. Proactively address issues as they arise and implement corrective actions as needed. Strong emphasis on financial acumen along with AIA billing documents.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that construction activities adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, with an emphasis on the internal Project Management division by mentoring and training

Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees

Communication: strong communication skills with other departments (Accounting, Estimating, Human Resources, and Management)

Strong knowledge in General Trades (i.e., carpentry, doors, frames, hardware & millwork installation)

Ability to work well with others and with a team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus (PMP, CCM).

Minimum of 5 years of recent Commercial Construction work experience

Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience

Proficiency in project management software and tools (Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office suite.

Willing to travel as necessary.
