JOB SUMMARY
The Program Manager oversees a group of related projects related to Bergstrom’s Battery Energy Storage market and aligning them with the organization’s strategic goals and ensuring they deliver value together. While a project manager focuses on executing individual projects, a program manager takes a broader view across multiple projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Strategic Alignment
· Ensure that all projects under the program contribute to the Bergstrom’s business objectives.
· Work with leadership to define and prioritize program goals.
· Planning and Coordination
· Develop an overarching program roadmap.
· Coordinate timelines, resources, and interdependencies across projects.
· Stakeholder Management
· Communicate with executives, customers, and cross-functional teams.
· Manage expectations and ensure stakeholders are aligned.
· Risk Management
· Identify and mitigate risks that affect the program.
· Anticipate potential roadblocks that could impact multiple projects.
· Budget and Resource Management
· Oversee budgets at the program level.
· Ensure efficient allocation of resources across projects.
· Performance Monitoring
· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the program’s progress.
· Adjust strategy or execution as needed to meet goals.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Strong communication skills written, verbal and in presentations.
· Strong organization, time and project management skills.
· Ability to research, analyze and interpret data to answer questions using a variety of reliable resources.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or project management.
3 years of engineering or project management experience.
Strong background in managing complex projects.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Experience coordinating multiple related projects or leading programs.
Experience in project oversight, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
The budgeted range for this role is $75,000 USD - $100,000 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the desired level of experience for the position.
