Responsibilities:
Utilize AutoCAD software to develop construction drawings for fiber optic and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
Design OSP routes while incorporating plat maps, parcel maps, and third-party utilities into project plans.
Research and analyze local jurisdictions, utility databases, and permitting requirements to ensure compliance with city, county, state, and local municipality regulations.
Conduct site surveys, review field data, and translate notes into accurate CAD drawings for conduit and fiber placement.
Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to develop make-ready designs and pole loading assessments as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:Experience in telecommunications and fiber required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD with at least 1+ year of experience in OSP design and drafting.
Strong understanding of OSP design principles, including plat maps, parcel maps, and third-party utility coordination.
Ability to research and interpret local permitting and right-of-way requirements.
Knowledge of make-ready engineering and pole attachment design is a plus.
Self-motivated with strong time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and with clients.
