Senior Project Controller – Construction

Are you a seasoned Project Controls professional ready to lead high-impact construction, renewable energy and infrastructure projects? We’re hiring a Senior Project Controller to drive financial performance, cost management, and operational oversight across major construction initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Own and execute full-cycle project controls: budgeting, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Monitor project performance, cash flow, and profitability to ensure alignment with KPIs.
Lead and mentor project controls teams; develop best practices and drive process improvements.
Partner with Project Managers, Field Operations, and Finance to deliver accurate forecasts and recovery plans.
Conduct internal audits on billing, change orders, AR/AP, job cost systems, and compliance documentation.
Facilitate monthly WIP reviews and support project closeouts, ensuring full financial and contractual compliance.
What You Bring
5–10 years of experience in Project Controls, preferably within Construction (non-renewables is OK).
Proven expertise in cost forecasting, scheduling, and project financials.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Viewpoint, Ecosys, Primavera, or MS Project.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Confident interpreting construction contracts, drawings, and scopes of work.
Independent, adaptable, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver results.
Hybrid/Remote and in-office with willingness to travel once a month to project sites across the U.S.
