Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000

TriMech is actively recruiting for a Program Manager on behalf of our client in Geneva, Ohio. This is a direct hire, onsite role with a competitive salary and the opportunity to lead mission-critical aerospace and defense programs.
Position Overview
The Program Manager will be responsible for leading high-visibility programs and contracts within the aerospace and defense sector. This role involves managing all aspects of program execution—including cost, schedule, performance, and risk—while acting as the primary liaison between internal teams, customers, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full lifecycle of complex programs, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance goals.
Lead all program-related meetings, including kick-off, status updates, and closeouts.
Manage cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and facilitate collaboration.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on program status and performance.
Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposal efforts.
Participate in contract and subcontract negotiations, ensuring compliance with FAR and company standards.
Create and manage detailed program schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Monitor and report program health using Earned Value Management (EVM) and variance analysis.
Identify and mitigate program risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Support internal R&D initiatives and oversee inventory tracking to ensure smooth program execution and closure.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years of Program Management experience with DoD contracts—either as a Prime or Subcontractor.
Strong background in aerospace or defense, with demonstrated success in managing programs from initiation to delivery.
Proficiency in EVM, risk assessment, cost/schedule control, and reporting.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP certification or equivalent (e.g., DAU Level 3/Advanced) preferred.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate complex project dynamics.
Proven experience building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
