Position Overview
We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Content Editor with a strong understanding of social media platforms, native content formats, and storytelling that resonates on social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who can edit for both paid and organic campaigns, move quickly, and collaborate across teams to bring a brand’s voice to life in short-form video.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into clear, compelling narratives for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more.
Provide on-location, same-day editing for key events and shoots.
Enhance edits with motion graphics, transitions, text overlays, and title sequences.
Mix audio, including music, dialogue, and sound effects.
Perform color correction and grading for visual consistency.
Collaborate with producers, creatives, and strategists to meet campaign goals.
Organize project files and maintain efficient workflows.
Tailor content for both paid and organic distribution, adjusting tone and pacing accordingly.
Create sizzle reels and case study videos with integrated footage, graphics, and sound.
Stay on top of platform trends and best practices to maximize reach and engagement.
Partner with media teams to align creative with performance marketing goals.
Respond to feedback promptly while maintaining high creative quality.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
1-3+ years of experience as a in content editing, social media marketing or other related fields, preferably in an advertising agency or marketing department.
Excellent writing, photo, graphic, video and editing skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite (i.e. Premiere Pro, After Effects) or other similar software programs
Ability to adapt writing style to different target audiences and brand voices is a must
Strong understanding of social media platforms, their features, and limitations, and ability to optimize copy for different platforms.
Ability to work both independently and effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate creative concepts and ideas to stakeholders.
Familiarity with website landing pages and modules, banners, and additional promotional material is a plus and may be needed as extension of campaign work
Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $80,000 to $95,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
