Key Responsibilities of the Controller

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP

Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insights to management

Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and key performance metrics

Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including board presentations

Support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards

Administer and optimize use of QuickBooks and other financial systems

What We're Looking For in a Controller

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

10+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Location & Compensation

Work Setting: In-office Near Akron, Ohio

Base Salary: $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience
