In this role, you will not only be responsible for the successful estimation of commercial electrical projects but will also play a key role in business development. You will be actively involved in identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and building relationships with potential clients prior to the estimation phase. Your sales efforts will directly impact project acquisition and company growth, allowing you to drive new business while contributing to the continued success of Amos Home Services. Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building with potential clients.

Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's footprint in the commercial electrical sector.

Preparing accurate, detailed electrical estimates and bids for commercial projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Creating and presenting comprehensive, professional proposals to clients, ensuring clarity and transparency in scope, timelines, and costs.

Cultivating relationships with potential clients to generate new business opportunities and collaborating with the sales management to identify leads and convert them into successful projects.

Understanding client needs, reviewing project specifications, and determining project requirements, while working with the project management team to ensure estimations align with scope and budget.

Ensuring all electrical proposals comply with local codes and regulations, maintaining safety standards across all estimates and project executions.

Providing exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their questions and concerns throughout the estimation process, and maintaining communication to build long-lasting relationships with key clients.

Working closely with internal installation teams, including designers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure that all electrical systems meet project specifications.

Staying up to date with industry trends, electrical codes, and market rates to provide the most accurate and competitive estimates.

Qualifications:

At least five (5) years of experience in electrical estimation, with a focus on commercial projects. Experience in HVAC estimation is a plus.

Proven experience in business development and sales within the commercial electrical sector, with a track record of successfully generating leads, building client relationships, and driving new business opportunities before estimation.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting design, backup generation, and general electrical infrastructure. Knowledge of relevant local and national electrical codes is essential.

Excellent attention to detail in estimating, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all bids and proposals.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and present proposals clearly and persuasively.

Familiarity with electrical estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with project management tools is an advantage.

Ability to identify issues and provide cost-effective solutions that meet client requirements.

A valid electrical license is preferred. A professional certification in estimating (e.g., AACE, or equivalent) is a plus.

A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Pay: $85,000-$95,000 plus commission
