Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – ServiceNow opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

Location: Dallas, TX (hybrid remote)

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

Perform daily administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.

Configure and manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions.

Develop and implement custom ServiceNow applications and workflows to meet business requirements.

Customize forms, lists, reports, and dashboards.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality and performance.

Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

Plan, test, and execute system upgrades and patches.

Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Ensure platform compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Support modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and CMDB.

Apply ITIL practices to optimize ServiceNow processes and workflows.

Skills:

Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and related scripting languages.

Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Experience:

2–5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform administration and development.

Experience working on FedRamp instances and passing relevant background checks is highly preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Certifications:

Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
