Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Provide machine support including but not limited to safety controllers, PLC's, HMI's, robots, motion control, measurement systems, instrumentation, material handling systems, industrial networks, and computer system hardware/software application support for MES and data collection systems.
Perform work utilizing plant electrical controls standards.
Work with the Change Management Process for the overall implementation, performance, and continuous improvement of company initiatives.
Schedule and manage upgrades, overhauls, and conversions of Aseptic Filling and Process Lines.
Provide Training in the operation and maintenance of Aseptic Filling and Process Lines
Participate in afterhours support for engineering group on a rotating basis.
Maintain relationships with engineering, operations, and maintenance groups to provide new functionality as required by production needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an Associate’s in Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited college or equal technical experience
A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments is required to demonstrate the desired industry experience.
Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems
Demonstrated ability to work with operations and technical teams to define project objectives and then deploy those findings to optimize performance of the process.
Communicate in an effective and professional manner with peers, internal and external Customers.
Experience working with Technical Service Providers and/or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and demonstrated ability to drive project results.
Self-Motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Evidence of continuing self-development.
Rockwell Automation PLC and HMI experience
Demonstrated background in processing and packaging equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting, including after-hours support as needed to maintain project progress or equipment support when assisting operations or maintenance customers.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity
Ability and means to travel if needed; must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of valid insurance including liability and property damage coverage
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited college.
Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise with Tetra Pak and/or Stork Aseptic filling equipment.
Knowledge of detailed electrical and mechanical operation and optimization of Food Process and Packaging systems.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Aseptic Processing and Packaging Systems.
Beckhoff Automation PLC and HMI experience
Robotics working knowledge (i.e. Fanuc)
Experience in motion control, VFD and safety hardware
Demonstrated experience in vision inspection systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc.)
Knowledge of NFPA70,70E,78
AutoCAD software experience.
Knowledge of FDA Rules and Regulations
