Operations Manager
Gallopade International, Inc. has an immediate need for an operations Manager to join our Warehouse and Shipping Team at our headquarters facility in Peachtree City GA. The Operations manager will be overseeing the order entry, assembling of print materials, and warehouse Shipping/Receiving operations daily.
This position will require strong leadership, planning, supervising, organizing/ tracking inventory, and communication skills. This is a position requiring firsthand supporting daily internal and external operational activities. This individual is a member of the Company leadership team reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, checking, and ensuring accuracy and disputing discrepancies if found.
Manages business activities of production, quality control, customer service, and logistics.
Collaboration with various departments within the company.
Responsible for safety compliance, cleanliness, and organization of all materials coming in and out of the warehouse at any time.
Hiring and training staff
Supervision of warehouse shipping/receiving, assembly, and data entry personnel.
Maintain, organize, and file documents for all shipments in or out bound.
Maintain accurate records of all inventories and routinely organize shipments to keep the warehouse operations running efficiently.
Solved any issues or discrepancies with lost, inaccurate, damaged, or delayed shipments.
Complete routine analysis of issues and concerns with shipping & receiving, order entry and printing of materials, strategizing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency.
Forecasting and strategic planning for product assembly and delivery.
Inspect print materials to ensure accuracy and quality of products before shipment.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an operations Manager, preferably for a minimum of 7 years.
Warehouse operations experience.
Able to lift to thirty-five pounds daily.
Forklift Certified
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, possessing the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to manage a team efficiently and effectively.
Planning, organizing, forecasting, and prioritizing for production and busy shipping season.
Training and development of all current and future direct report personnel.
Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
