CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

As a CNC lathe operator, you’ll play a crucial role in our metalworking operations. You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC and lathe machines to manufacture high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints preferred.

Perform regular maintenance on CNC lathe machines to ensure optimal performance.

Utilize CNC editing skills to create and modify machining programs as needed.

Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions.

Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all machining processes.

Collaborate with team members to streamline production and meet project deadlines.

Experience/Skill Requirements:

1-3 years of relevant experience in a metal manufacturing environment is preferred. We do offer strong on the job continuous training along with continued external education.

Ability to manage set-ups, minor program alterations at your machine a plus.

Precision measuring instruments.

Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documents.

Knowledge of G & M code programming.

Hours:

1st Shift: (4/10's), Monday-Thursday, 5 am to 3 pm.

Overtime is available depending on workload.

Pay rate:

$22.00/hr. to $32.00/hr., will be determined based of years of experience.Company Description
