Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trader Support Specialist to join our team. This role is specifically designed to support our team of coffee traders in the day-to-day operations of our importing business. While you will work closely with professionals involved in global coffee trading, no prior experience in coffee or commodities trading is required, just a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling multiple tasks, ensuring the integrity of data and documents, and helping keep our fast-paced workflow running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support focused on the coffee market price platform for the Trading Ops Manager and coffee trading team.

Create, record and reconcile purchase and sale Trade Tickets for Coffee Futures.

Intraday maintenance of internal trading ledgers and reports.

Execute trading orders based on trading staff instructions. Providing trade data accurately and in a timely manner is critical for success in this position.

Maintain and update market records for customers, vendors, and inventory systems.

Communicate trade confirmations via phone and email with clients and suppliers in a timely manner.

Perform general office duties as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in an accounting or operations support role.

Demonstrated ability to think critically and interpret information and data

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data entry and documentation.

Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with ERP or inventory systems a plus

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small office environment

Some prior knowledge or interest in financial markets, trade, or banking is preferred, especially relating to commodity transactions or international business.

A passion for coffee and interest in the specialty coffee supply chain is a bonus but NOT required.
