Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join our client's talented team. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. The location is in Englewood, New Jersey
This is a traveler assignment with a minimum commitment of 13 weeks and the potential for extension based on performance and business needs
This client encourages their clinicians to pursue specialties they are passionate about such as Orthopedics, Pelvic Health, Oncology, Vestibular, Hand, Pediatric, Neuro, Vertigo, Sports, Parkinsons Disease, Performing Arts, Pulmonary Disease, Concussion Management, Dry Needling (depending on state), and much more Key Responsibilities:
Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons
Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about
Develop an individualized treatment plan
Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process
Communication skills for communicating diagnoses, test results and available treatments in terms that clients and their families can understand
Compassion when working with individuals frustrated by the difficulties they are experiencing
Attention to detail for maintaining notes on treatment and progress
Listening skills for listening to concerns and symptoms of clients so they can decide the most appropriate course of treatment Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist within the respective state
