The Packer is responsible for various duties involved in wrapping and packaging our seasonal chocolate products. This hands-on role ensures our delicious chocolates are packed and ready to bring joy to customers around the country.

R.M. Palmer Company, LLC designs, produces, packages, and ships seasonal chocolate novelties. Its products include filled chocolates, solid chocolates, chocolate bars and balls, chocolate cups and coins, chocolate patties, and seasonal products. In addition to their own branded products, the Company co-manufactures both seasonal and everyday products for other large branded companies. Today, the Company operates out of two manufacturing facilities and one distribution facility with ~600 full-time employees. R.M. Palmer Company, LLC has some of the most differentiated manufacturing capabilities in the industry as one of the only companies in the U.S. able to make hollow molded chocolate candy products and multicolor chocolate candy novelties.

Packer Responsibilities

Tray and separate molded chocolate pieces

Feed chocolates into packaging machines

Hand pack chocolate pieces and novelty trays

Operate foiling molds and monitor packaging equipment

Form and seal cartons, stack finished boxes for shipment

Prepare packaging materials such as trays, cartons, and pouches

Perform product inspection and quality checks

Clean and sanitize machines and workstations

Report any food safety or quality concerns to management

Requirements:

Experience:

Prior production/manufacturing experience.

Prior packing and/or experience working in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.

Availability on 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
