John’s Prep is an inclusive, Catholic, Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School for young men in grades 6 through 12.

Position Overview and Responsibilities The Admission Office Assistant will assist in the admission process for both Middle and High School.

The Admission Office Assistant is expected to actively and fully support our mission and identity as a Catholic, Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School.

This is a 10-month, part time role without benefits.

Reporting to the Assistant Head of School for Enrollment Management, the Admission Office Assistant will: Assist with the management of databases.

Manage and send out inquiry packets.

Assist the members of the Office of Admission with planning and execution of special events, such as admission open houses, regional receptions, new student and parent activities, etc.

Help maintain guest lists and RSVPs for events.

Maintain statistical information and develop reports, as needed.

Perform data entry, scanning, and filing as needed.

Participate in admission-related weekend/evening events, as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Head of School for Enrollment Management.

Education and Experience Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Comfort with all aspects of technology, including database programs.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and web content management systems.

Physical Requirements: Standing/sitting for long periods of time.

Must be capable of adapting to frequent changes in position throughout the workday.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone.

Use of hands and fingers for manipulation, and using a computer keyboard and educational tools.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

John’s Preparatory School by acting as servant leaders capable of modeling and actively promoting Xaverian and Catholic values.
