**CNC Lathe Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team on a contract basis. Due to an increase in orders and a shortage of employees, we require an experienced professional to help us get back on track. The successful candidate will be adept at setting up machines, reading complex blueprints, and working effectively within a small team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate lathe machines, including Haas lathes (DMG Mori 1500 & NLX 3 axis).
+ Read and interpret complex blueprints to ensure accurate machining processes.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise.
+ Work collaboratively with a small team to meet production goals.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to medical-grade steel cleanliness standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in setting up lathe machines.
+ Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.
+ Experience with Celos control and DMG NLX 1500.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining and machine operations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Mitsubishi Wire EDM is a plus.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal support.

**Work Environment**
The position involves working Monday through Saturday from 2pm to 12:30am. The work environment is clean and adheres to medical-grade steel standards, ensuring a professional and safe setting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Fife, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
