Job Goal: Assist students safely through intersections and monitoring vehicle traffic.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma preferred

First aid training desired

Ability to work cooperatively with parents, students, staff and the general public

Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules

Vision and hearing adequate to exercise job responsibilities in a safe manner

Core Job Functions:

Place traffic signs where required

Utilize proper procedure, walking students through the crosswalk

Ensure student safety by ensuring students walk within the crosswalk lines

Report violators of the 15 mph zone, both pedestrians and vehicles

Perform related duties as requested

Perform all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed
