Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Subject: ELEMENTARY MATH AND SCIENCE TEACHER RESOURCES WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT TEAM Funding is available for a team of up to 4 educators to work collaboratively and under the direction of the Elementary STEM Coordinator to develop and organize a STEM website using SharePoint.
Team members will vet existing STEM resources, using guiding standards and curriculum documents to ensure alignment and build a new site on SharePoint, organizing materials and ensuring easy access for teachers.
The resulting product, the Elementary STEM website will be available to all Elementary staff to support the teaching and learning of all students in the area of mathematics and science.
Qualifications •Current MA DESE licensed BPS elementary educator •Experience creating and designing websites and/or experience with the SharePoint platform.
•Strong familiarity with Brockton Public Schools elementary math and science resources and MA DESE Math and Science curriculum standards.
Objectives •Vet existing resources to ensure alignment with current frameworks and BPS math and science high quality instructional materials.
•Transfer needed resources from STEM Weebly site (math and science content by grade level) to new virtual environment.
•Create and format a new STEM webpage using SharePoint.
•Sort, organize and upload math and science content onto the new SharePoint site.
Expectations •Members of the team will organize all responsibilities and collaboratively divide out the responsibilities under the direction of the STEM Coordinator.
•Attend an initial meeting (2 hours) after school to be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date in June.
Attend up to two check-in sessions (2 hours each) during the summer months with the STEM Coordinator.
•Up to 35 hours of work outside of the school day plus one initial after school meeting and two check in meetings (see previous bullet). •Must have the availability outside of school hours to complete up to 40 hours of work that will lead to the completion of the STEM SharePoint site by August 22, 2025 Compensation:According to contract Funding Source:Title II FY24 Application Deadline: June 17, 2025
