Department: PAM (Privileged Access Management)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Privileged Access Management (PAM) group in Columbus, OH. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong background in ETL processes, database systems, and data management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent Python scripting and SQL skills and demonstrate a clear understanding of data modeling and application development principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines.

Manage and optimize database systems and data workflows.

Develop data models and structures to support analytical and operational use cases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to support data integration and application development needs.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in alignment with PAM/IAM standards.

Job requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

Strong experience with ETL tools and database technologies (Pentaho preferred; open to Spark, Databricks, etc.).

Proficient in Python scripting (including pandas, NumPy, etc.).

Deep knowledge of SQL and database query optimization.

Solid understanding of data modeling and data management principles.

Proficient in application development, using one or more general-purpose programming languages.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, TDD, and cloud development is a plus.

Previous experience or understanding of PAM/IAM environments is a significant advantage.

Nice to Have:

Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Familiarity with security and application resiliency techniques

Experience working with Agile tools and DevOps practices
