Control Engineer Supervisor

DSJ Global is proud to partner with a leading renewable energy company in search of a Control System Specialist Supervisor. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines technical expertise with strategic oversight, supporting power plant operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in control systems, a passion for renewable energy, and a proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a team of Control System Specialists across various plant locations.

Lead field-based activities including system commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems.

Design, develop, and implement PLC logic and HMI/SCADA programs, with a preference for Allen Bradley.

Collaborate closely with engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure robust, secure, and efficient control system operations.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.

Travel to plant sites as needed both domestically and globally (approximately 30% travel required).

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Minimum 7 years of experience in power generation or process industries.

At least 3 years of experience leading or supervising technical teams.

Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, instrumentation, and control network architecture.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team development.
