**Valid/Current TWIC Required**
The ideal candidate will hold at least (2) API certifications (API510/API570/API653/API580) and have experience using the GE APM/Meridium software tool. This role is vital for technical guidance to the embedded inspection contractor and maintenance personnel, ensuring quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief inspector in reviewing inspection reports for static equipment including pressure vessels, piping, and tanks for data quality and code compliance.
- Work closely with the Mechanical Integrity Maintenance group for inspection and repair execution.
- Assist the lead inspector to provide method and timing guidance for repair recommendations.
- Assist the lead inspector and unit inspectors in reevaluation of repair recommendation backlog and validation of completed repairs.
- Stay updated with advancements in NDE techniques and industry practices.
- Assist the lead inspector in developing detailed work processes and training related to inspections and IDMS software (GE APM).
- Provide assistance in organizing and filing documentation to the equipment records.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines, operations personnel, and management.
Qualifications:
- In-depth experience with API inspection codes, including API 510, API 570, and API 653.
- Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, collaborative, creative.
- Basic understanding of the concepts of probability and consequence, and how they affect risk levels of equipment in an RBI inspection program.
- Proficiency in GE APM software tool.
- Familiarity with Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and damage mechanism reviews.
