Position Overview:

As the Plant Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our production operations, ensuring seamless scheduling and efficiency to meet customer needs. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements and align production plans accordingly. Your role is pivotal in implementing company policies and fostering a culture of respect and satisfaction among employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules that meet customer demands while optimizing plant efficiency, including overseeing shipping and receiving activities.

Team Leadership: Lead and cultivate a high-performing team focused on safety and operational excellence. Coach and direct Shift Managers to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, customer service, quality, efficiency, and 5S practices by collaborating with other managers.

Problem Solving: Engage in problem-solving activities and participate in monthly performance review meetings to analyze KPI targets.

Employee Development: Oversee employee training programs at various levels and support direct reports in disciplinary actions. Ensure fair employee evaluations by Shift Managers.

Culture Building: Foster a respectful and satisfying work environment for all employees.

Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Industrial Operations, with proven experience in a leadership role.

Skills:

Highly motivated and results-oriented leader with a positive approach.

Proficient in MS Office Suite; AS400 experience preferred.

Knowledge of automotive industry standards such as TS16949 and ISO 14401 is a plus.

Strong analytical skills for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
