Pastry Chef – Fine Dining
A boutique French country inn with two acclaimed restaurants, invites applications for a creative, skilled, and passionate Pastry Chef to join our award-winning culinary team.
Your Role Includes:
Designing and executing wedding cakes and custom celebration desserts for events and private parties
Leading all pastry operations across two restaurants, ensuring Michelin-quality standards and fine dining experience throughout every service
Creating and presenting elevated, seasonal desserts with modern plating and beautiful presentation
Managing all pastry inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain seamless operations
Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and a team of talented chefs to develop innovative, farm-to-table desserts that showcase the best of each season
Overseeing our high tea and salon service for inn guests, with a focus on refined pastries and tea cakes
Maintaining and expanding our bread and pastry program, including the use of a sheeter and chocolate work (with opportunities to grow this area)
Ensuring all desserts and pastries reflect the highest standards of technique, flavor, and artistry expected in a fine dining environment
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in fine dining or Michelin-quality kitchens as a pastry chef
Expertise in wedding cakes, chocolate work, modern pastry techniques, and creative dessert presentation
Strong organizational skills for inventory management and kitchen operations
Collaborative spirit and leadership ability to work with a dedicated culinary team
Passion for farm-to-table cuisine and working with the freshest local ingredients
