Position Overview
Libra Industries is seeking a Lean Operations Manager to lead its Dallas
manufacturing site with a strong focus on operational efficiency, team development, and
lean transformation. The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of leadership experience
in managing both hourly and salaried teams, with a proven track record of driving
continuous improvement initiatives and delivering measurable operational results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor production teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost
objectives.
Champion Lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement
across the site.
Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for process optimization,
waste reduction, and value stream improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, quality, and supply chain
to ensure operational alignment.
Oversee daily operations, providing strong floor leadership and direction to
production supervisors and their teams.
Develop and implement standard work, visual management tools, and KPI
dashboards.
Cultivate a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.
Support growth and scalability of operations while maintaining compliance with
industry standards. Requirements:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success in managing both hourly and salaried teams in a high mix, low-volume environment.
Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, coaching, and change management skills.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into actionable strategies.
