Project Engineer - Light Industrial Construction

Our client, a nationally recognized OH-based general contractor, is seeking a Project Engineer with commercial construction experience to join their growing team.

Serve as the main contact among architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, internal staff, and owner’s representatives to resolve plan and specification issues.

Review and approve contract drawings and subcontractor details, manage project budgets, handle submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.

Oversee project close-out, including final documentation and warranties.

Supervise junior staff and contribute to scope of work documents.

Create reports on labor, safety, quality, and change orders, and lead coordination meetings.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), minimum 2 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong leadership skills.

Salary ranges from $70k-$85k with full benefits.
