Technical Writer/Editor

The Technical Writer/Editor (ATCDT) supports an upcoming proposal effort at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities include writing, updating, and verifying technical reports, manuals, briefs, instruction books, and catalogs.

Key tasks involve locating sources, resolving discrepancies between text and graphics, restructuring sentences for clarity, and consulting authors to correct factual inconsistencies.

Provides technical assistance across various publications, ensuring error-free documents.

Must safeguard files and access, and have a BA/BS in English or related field with 5-8 years of experience, especially in government or scientific environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, effective communication skills, and the ability to maintain a Secret security clearance are required.

Physical demands include lifting up to 15 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.
