Mobile Crisis Response Team
Social Worker needed!

Shift/Hours:
Full-Time AM Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (with a bi-weekly 8-hour shift on Wednesday 3 pm-11 pm) or Thursday, Friday, Saturday (with a bi-weekly 8-hour shift on Wednesday 3 pm -11 pm)

Full-Time PM Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (with a bi-weekly 8-hour shift on Wednesday 11 pm - 7 am) or Thursday, Friday, Saturday (with a bi-weekly 8-hour shift on Wednesday 11 pm -7 am)
Candidate must be flexible. Sometimes they will have to work beyond the posted hours if a call comes in late in their shift. They will need to stay until their last call/case is completed.
Holiday/Weekend Requirement:
If it falls within the schedule. No RTO will be considered within the first 90 days.
General information:
In the field during the day, come in to get vehicle and get scheduling. Remote orientation most likely (30 days). 1st month M-F 8am-5pm, maybe last week will mimic regular schedule. They will practice role playing, scenarios.
Coverage will be San Juan keen County (30-40miles), triage & 911 calls, may be in homes, schools, anywhere an ambulance can go, they will go.
Responsibilities:
MCRT is creating an opportunity for Clinicians, Case Manager Master’s, and Certified Peer Supports to intervene in a unique way that has never been done before in our system of care. This program collaborates and accepts referrals from County Access and Crisis Line (ACL) and law enforcement. MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in-person intervention, and case management. MCRT Team Lead provides telephone screening, triage and referral services and assures that every consumer caller receives timely response to their call, accurate assessments, appropriate interventions, and professional attention. They also provide supervision of assigned team members and the crisis access line support.
Must Haves:
License: Current licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, etc. and Valid California driver’s license. Max 4 pts.
Certification: Certified to perform W & I 5150 Holds in the field. Must be BLS certified, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
Experience: Two (2) years post masters experience providing crisis response with mentally ill individuals. One (1) year supervisory experience, or supervisory training within (6) months of employment. Sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues.
Preferred:
- Outpatient clinic or community health service with two (2) years of direct clinical service.
- Experience providing intensive case management and/or intensive community supports using psychiatric rehabilitation concepts.
- Two (2) years of supervision post masters experience in behavioral health setting.
About the Unit:
Patient Population: Variety of pediatric to geriatric. Crisis prevention and interventions. Any where an ambulance can go, they will go. This can be homes, schools, public buildings, etc. They will also do transport services to various facilities if a patient needs to be held for 72hr watch (5150), or needs medical care. There are always 2-3 people at each call, and will never be alone with a patient.
