Controls Application Engineer

Are you a highly skilled Controls Application Engineer with a passion for designing, developing, and implementing automated control systems? Key Responsibilities:

Control System Design: Develop robust control architectures, detailed PLC programming, and comprehensive interface specifications tailored to meet specific project requirements.

System Testing and Validation: Execute thorough system integration testing (SIT) and factory acceptance testing (FAT) to ensure systems comply with safety standards, performance specifications, and industry regulations.

Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their automation requirements, provide technical support, and recommend effective control solutions for optimal system performance.

Technical Documentation: Produce detailed electrical schematics, control system diagrams, operation manuals, and project documentation to support installation, maintenance, and scalability.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in control system design and PLC programming.

Proficient in Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams (FBD), and Structured Text (ST).

Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider Electric platforms.

Strong foundation in control theory, process automation, and instrumentation.

Experience in HMI design, including configuration of SCADA systems and touch panel interfaces.

Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Effective in cross-functional team collaboration and client-facing communication.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience (minimum of 5 years in the field).

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site system support, though actual travel is expected to be closer to 10%.
