Main Responsibilities

Formulate group-level customs compliance strategy, SOP, guideline.

Identify key Customs-related risks, formulate related coping strategies, drive corrective actions to ensure group are in compliance with related customs laws and regulations.

Deeply involved in advanced logistics planning by investigating Customs policy and regulations in group production and delivery destination countries, and provide suggestions and overall logistics/Customs solutions (destination port, routing...) under DDP term.

Conduct Customs compliance audits (including Processing Trade Management, documents, HS code, Brand Authorization) follow up and drive implementation of corrective action plan until all problems are closed.

Deal with overseas Customs on import compliance, such as HS Code classification, assist, country of origin.

Establish and maintain the record of import duty rate and VAT rate of most frequently used HS code in destination country

In case of any trade conflic/war with any other country, take the lead in studying the negative impact to the company, organizing meetings with related-functions to work out counter-measures, push and and monitor the implementation of the counter-measures.

Provide customs-related support to Sales Team, Logistics Planning Team

Maintain regular communication and share information with Customs-related colleagues. Give customs-related trainings to related colleagues.

Qualification

Education Background Majoring in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, English, etc.

Working Experience At least 6-year experience in Customs Operation incl. Processing Trade), Management, or customs compliance, preferred in automotive industry.

Language Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Behaviors Proactive, responsible, service awareness and patience

Knowledge & Skills

International Trade, logistics and Customs compliance knowledge.

Good understanding of China and destination countries (mainly USA/EU) Customs regulations and procedures, extensive China customs compliance experience in processing trade, eBooks, HS classification, Brand Authorization Management and negotiating with customs officials.

Good skill in using OFFICE software and other IT software

Good organizing, coordination, optional solutions providing and problem solving ability

Cross-culture communication skills, coordination ability and team work spirit
